ARK Survival Evolved Server Manager
ARK servers change under your feet on every Steam update, so this connector does not guess. It is a native plugin for the Linux dedicated server, built against one exact game build, and it refuses to load on anything else. There is no stable release yet; this page says so.
In development. Linux dedicated server on build 21241282 (Steam app 376030).
Sound familiar?
These are the problems Takaro was built to solve.
An update changes everything
Server-side tooling for a compiled game breaks the moment the executable changes. Running it on a build it was not made for is how a server crashes at 3am.
Tribes, tames and long sessions
An ARK server holds weeks of other people's progress. An admin tool that can lose a player list or deliver a hundred items in one go is a risk to all of it.
Bans that quietly lapse
A timed ban nobody lifts, or a ban that vanishes on restart, is the same problem from both sides: the rules you set are not the rules that apply.
One dashboard for the dinosaurs too
When the connector reaches a stable release, an ARK server joins the same overview as every other game Takaro supports. One list, one login, one set of modules.

ARK: Survival Evolved server management features
Every module works out of the box. Install, configure, done.
Exact-build safety
The launcher checks the server executable and the plugin refuses to run on any other ARK build. Windows servers are not supported.
Player tracking with positions
Joins, leaves, chat and deaths arrive with SteamIDs, and positions match the in-game GPS. A player kill names the attacker; a creature kill names the creature and the weapon.
Safe item delivery
Inventories can be read and items given from the dashboard. An amount above a single stack is delivered in rounds instead of in one go.
Bans that outlast restarts
Kicks, bans, unbans and timed bans work, and the plugin lifts timed bans itself when they run out. A message to an offline player is refused rather than broadcast.
Saves before shutdown
A shutdown from Takaro saves the world first and only then reports back. Console commands run from the dashboard, except DoExit, which is refused in favour of Takaro's shutdown.
Full REST API
Build your own tools on top of Takaro. Custom dashboards, Discord bots, integrations. Full API access on every plan, including free.
Cross-server management
Run ARK: Survival Evolved alongside every other game Takaro supports from one dashboard, with player profiles shared across them.

ARK: Survival Evolved server management FAQ
When can I download it?
When the first stable release is tagged. Until then this page and the games index show ARK as in development, and there is no download link to a build that has not been released.
Which ARK is this for?
ARK: Survival Evolved on a Linux dedicated server at public build 21241282. Other ARK builds and Windows servers are refused, not attempted.
Do the other maps work?
They work, but only The Island has map bounds declared, so only that map can show player positions on a Takaro map. You upload the map image yourself.
Do players need to install anything?
No. The plugin runs on the server and connects to Takaro itself, with no sidecar.
Can I manage multiple ARK: Survival Evolved servers from one dashboard?
Yes. Add as many servers as your plan allows. The free tier includes one server; paid plans cover two to eight, all from a single dashboard.
Is Takaro a replacement for my server host?
No. Takaro is a management layer on top of the server you already run. You keep your hosting provider; Takaro connects to the server and adds economy, teleports, moderation and analytics.
Can I write custom modules?
Yes. Takaro modules are commands, hooks and cron jobs you can write yourself, and the REST API is open for anything a module cannot reach.
How much does it cost?
The free tier covers one server with every module included. Paid plans start at €7.99/month for two servers. See all plans.
Is ARK: Survival Evolved support official?
Yes. Takaro builds, tests and releases this connector itself, with versioned releases and a documented install. Bugs go to the connectors repository.
