Players install nothing
The connector is a BepInEx plugin that runs inside the dedicated server process. Client-side Takaro mods are rejected by design, so a vanilla client always works.
Teleport vikings across the world
Takaro drives Valheim's own teleport, so moving a player to exact coordinates works the same way the game does it, with no portal and no boat trip.
Kicks, bans and a ban list you can read
Bans land in Valheim's own ban list and the player drops immediately, with the headless server staying up. The list reads back in the dashboard.
The full prefab catalogue
Over eight hundred item prefabs and a hundred character prefabs sync into Takaro, so modules can reference real Valheim items by name.
Allowlisted console commands
Console access is opt-in: only the commands you put on the allowlist can be run from the dashboard, so a shared admin account cannot reach further than you meant.

Valheim server management FAQ
Do my players need to install a mod?
No, and they must not. The connector is server-side only and is built to work against unmodified clients; a client-side Takaro mod is explicitly out of scope for Valheim.
Does Takaro bridge Valheim chat to Discord?
No. Valheim sends normal chat directly between clients, so a dedicated server never sees it and there is nothing for the connector to forward. Joins, leaves and deaths do reach Discord.
Can I read a player's inventory?
No. Valheim keeps each player's inventory on their own client, so the dedicated server holds nothing to read. The connector reports an error rather than inventing an empty bag.
Does it survive a server restart?
Yes. After the dedicated server restarts, the plugin re-identifies with no config change and events resume on their own.
Can I manage multiple Valheim servers from one dashboard?
Yes. Add as many servers as your plan allows. The free tier includes one server; paid plans cover two to eight, all from a single dashboard.
Is Takaro a replacement for my server host?
No. Takaro is a management layer on top of the server you already run. You keep your hosting provider; Takaro connects to the server and adds economy, teleports, moderation and analytics.
Can I write custom modules?
Yes. Takaro modules are commands, hooks and cron jobs you can write yourself, and the REST API is open for anything a module cannot reach.
How much does it cost?

Is Valheim support official?
