Palworld

Takaro connects to your Palworld dedicated server through the Palworld Bridge, built by the community. The bridge runs next to your server, talks to Palworld’s REST API, and connects out to Takaro.

It works with a normal Palworld dedicated server. You don’t change the server files, and players don’t install anything.

For what Takaro does for Palworld, see the Palworld server manager page.

  • A Palworld dedicated server, with admin access
  • The Palworld admin password
  • Node.js 18 or newer on the server machine
  • A Takaro registration token (see Get your tokens)

Running several Palworld servers? Give each one its own bridge and its own identity token. They all show up in the same dashboard.

  1. In Takaro, go to Servers and choose Create Server.
  2. The Add a server guide opens. Under Registration token, choose copy.
  3. Pick an identity token: a unique name for this server, like my-palworld-server. Keep it the same forever. If you change it, Takaro sees a new server.

Every server in your community uses the same registration token. Keep it secret.

  1. Open your PalWorldSettings.ini file.
  2. Set these values:
RESTAPIEnabled=True
RESTAPIPort=8212
AdminPassword=YourSecurePassword
  1. Save the file and restart the Palworld server.

The bridge uses this API to read the server state and run admin actions.

Download the latest release from the Palworld Bridge releases page.

Or build it from source:

Terminal window
git clone https://github.com/mad-001/Palworld-Bridge.git
cd Palworld-Bridge
npm install
npm run build

Create TakaroConfig.txt in the bridge folder:

IDENTITY_TOKEN=my-palworld-server
REGISTRATION_TOKEN=your-takaro-registration-token
PALWORLD_HOST=127.0.0.1
PALWORLD_PORT=8212
PALWORLD_USERNAME=admin
PALWORLD_PASSWORD=YourSecurePassword

Use the same password for PALWORLD_PASSWORD as for AdminPassword in PalWorldSettings.ini.

In the bridge folder, run:

Terminal window
npm start

On a live server, run the bridge with a process manager so it restarts by itself. For example, with PM2:

Terminal window
pm2 start dist/index.js --name palworld-bridge
  • In Takaro, open Servers. Your Palworld server shows up once the bridge connects.
  • If it doesn’t, check the bridge logs. Then check the registration token, the REST API port and the admin password.

The bridge can send Palworld chat to Takaro (and from there to Discord) with the TakaroChat mod. You only need it if you want chat.

  1. Download UE4SS and copy its files into PalServer\Pal\Binaries\Win64\.
  2. Copy the TakaroChat folder from the Palworld Bridge repository into:
PalServer\Pal\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods\TakaroChat\
  1. Edit TakaroChat\Scripts\config.lua and point it at the bridge:
config.BridgeURL = "http://localhost:3001/chat"
config.EnableBridge = true
config.SendCategories = {1, 2, 3}
  1. Restart the Palworld server.
